One of the most rewarding parts of joining a sorority is the bond that you and your sisters share. Our chapter is incredibly diverse, yet we all share one common bond: our love for each other and our sorority. We are proud to know each and every one of our sisters on a personal level in our chapter. 

 

To strengthen this bond, our sisterhood chair hosts several events just for our sisters. Some of our recent events include a Zumba sisterhood, movie and game nights, and a spa night at our Delta Zeta house. The Sisterhood chair also hosts a sisterhood retreat towards the end of each semester to welcome our new members into our chapter. We often spend a night out of town to share stories, play games and be reminded of how special our chapter is.

Another important aspect of sisterhood is the receiving of a big and a little. As new members are initiated into our chapter, they choose one member to be their mentor. This mentor is known as their big. Throughout their collegiate career, this member is there to spoil her, meet with her, and become her big sister.
